While our daughter was away at camp for two weeks, Darcy sprung into action and redesigned the whole room with ombré paint, custom window treatments, a swinging chair, new bedding and throw pillows, and a new rug, which resulted in a much nicer, cleaner, and usable space. Our daughter was thrilled to see her new room, she absolutely loves it! Not only is a Darcy an extraordinarily talented designer with a great eye, she is also one of the happiest people I know. “I decided I needed an expert to guide me through a kitchen remodel. My criteria was three-fold: easy to clean, no golden-brown, and plenty of light. Darcy's initial visit provided a lot more options than I anticipated. She then helped locate and interview contractors, guided me through choosing cabinetry, used computer aided layouts, found the right countertops and flooring. Taking down a wall opened up the space. She determined the right shades of white; who knew there were so many choices? The stylish backsplash has minimal minimal grout lines, meeting my cleaning criteria.. The ceiling light tube provides bright light during the day and fades to a soft glow as the sun sets. She kept a watchful eye on the construction noting small details that needed addressing; items I easily missed. She incorporated a washer/dryer in my small space, and was able to design a much needed facelift to the fireplace. She made recommendations for appliance dealers. She negotiated prices to try and keep costs as close to my budget as possible. In the end, Darcy Tsung Design has given me a kitchen that I will enjoy for my lifetime.
